  1. Here is a guideline for your class reflections:

Orientations Questions for preparing your class reflections on the blog.
    A. Concrete Experience
    1. Objectively describe the experience ("who," "what," "when," "where," "how" type information).
    2. Subjectively describe your feelings, perceptions, and thoughts that occurred during (not after) the experience. Does this section have too much detail?

    B. Reflective Observation
    1. Look at the experience from different points of view. How many points of view did you include that are relevant?
    2. Use these perspectives to add more meaning to the incident.

    C. Abstract Conceptualization
    1. Relate concepts from the assigned readings and the class to your experience (i.e., what theories that you heard in the lecture or read in the Reader relate to your understanding of this incident?). How many sources did you use and how clearly did you explain their theories?
    2. You can also create an original model or theory, but it should not replace course concepts.

    D. Active Experimentation
    1. Write about what you will do in the future that will improve your effectiveness. Use/describe rules of thumb or action resolutions.
    2. Are they described specifically, thoroughly, and in detail?

    E. Integration, Synthesis
    1. Did you write about something personally important to you?
    2. Did you integrate and synthesize the different sections?
